Solution or Workaround
If you receive this error after installing or upgrading the PDshop shopping cart, this usually means your server is running an outdated version of the Microsoft Asp.Net runtime, Asp.Net 1.1.
Contact your web host or server administrator, have them switch the runtime to either Asp.net 2.0 or 4.0. Asp.net 1.1 is pretty much obsolete these days and not really supported by Microsoft anymore, Version 10 of PDshop requires at least 2.0.
Microsoft is discontinuing support for .NET Framework 1.1 beginning on 10/14/2008.
